Lot Loading

Crucial to the success of any auction

No auction lots can be loaded without the catalogues. If this information is provided timely, the auction can receive better marketing, higher registrations - better prices.

Information to be provided for each Auction:
1. CSV Catalogue
2. PDF Catalogue
3. Lot photos
4. Lot videos
5. E- Catalogue (if available)
6. Please load to the SwiftVEE platform loading option only

  • 1. CSV Catalogue

    A CSV is a document sent by the Governing body of the specific breed for example: Bonsmara SA | Stud book. It contains the details of registered animals being sold on a specific auction. Our system requires a CSV catalogue to upload Lot information.

  • 2. PDF Catalogue

    A pdf catalogue consists of gene cards and comments by the seller. The pdf will be reformatted and uploaded to each specific lot.

  • 3. Lot photos

    Dress up your auction by providing us with no more than 3 high-quality landscape photos for each Lot, no bigger than 99Mb.

    Only JPEG | PNG Formats are accepted. Lot photos must be appropriately renamed when provided to us.

    Example:

    Photo 1 for Lot 15 should be saved as 15-1.JPEG and Photo 2 for Lot 15 should be saved at 15-2.JPEG

    Once photos are uploaded we will replace them only once with new photographs at your or your client’s request. No amendments to photos will be accepted thereafter.

  • 4. Lot Videos

    1 x Video per lot can be uploaded to give buyers the opportunity to see the moving animal. No bigger than 99Mb.

    Please provide landscape footage in MP4 saved according to Lot number only. For example: 10.mp4 instead of Lot 10.mp4

    Please note that no changes | new uploads can be done on auction day.

  • 5. E - Catalogue

    This electronic catalogue (E-catalogue) is designed and created by a 3rd party Marketing companies, but we also offer this service to Gold and Platnum Auction packages. Enquire now at hello@swiftvee.com

    An E-catalogue is similar to a PDF Catalogue, but consists of photos and gene cards.

Let’s Talk about Timeframes

To ensure that we meet the sellers’ and online bidders’ expectations we aim to load the lot material as soon as possible.

Communication is key, thus if at any point deadlines can’t be met, don’t be shy. Give us a ring!
All material must be loaded DIRECTLY onto Google Drive, the link will be provided.

All Auctions:
Kindly submit lot material as follows:

Stud and Commercial Animals:
1. Stud animals
- All info for Cattle must be in TWO WEEKS BEFORE auction day by the latest.
- Small livestock, FOUR DAYS BEFORE auction day by the latest.
2. Commercial animals | Slaughter Auctions
- No later than 48 HOURS BEFORE auction day.

Small stock:
- Small livestock latest FOUR DAYS BEFORE auction day
- Grading related changes 12 HOURS BEFORE auction day

Game:
- Latest 24 HOURS BEFORE auction day.

Kindly note: On Auction day NO photos | or videos will be loaded.

We strive to only provide the very best to both seller and buyer- thus ALL lot information needs to be loaded pre-auction (latest 48 hours before) so that we can do the required Quality Check. Our buyers are excited to view the animals on offer so it is our mission to get the info on our platform asap!
