A letter from Charles Freeme - President of the Meatmaster Sheep Breeders Society of South Africa

The National Meatmaster Auction will be held on 10th August 2023 in Bloemfontein at 11h00. On offer will be SA Studbook Registered and Unregistered animals in both the Ewe and Ram categories. All animals, 220 ewes and 65 Rams,  which will be on offer undergo an inspection by Inspectors appointed by Society, and they all must meet the Breed Standards as set out by Society. 

Potential buyers can confidently purchase  approved animals which can also be registered with SA Studbook following the sale. We encourage all Meatmaster breeders and those interested in starting up with the breed to attend the event, as 26 armers with passion and knowledge will share with you their stories and experiences with this dynamic breed –“ The Meatmaster – Nature’s Moneymaker “ which is gaining incredible growth.
